Ummaid Singh Rathore 1923-2003

motel located on the golden triangle, or rather first of its kind on the delhi-jaipur highway was built by th Umaid Singh Rathore Retd. IAS. He further expanded this mid way concept on the golden triangle which is famously known the world over as delhi-agra and jaipur. having a fascination for mughal as well as rajput style of architecture and garden layout mr Umaid Singh personally took care of the construction work of these motels. this expansion on the highway gave better facility to both domestic as well as foreign tourist traversing on these routes, secondly it gave a boost to the rural economy by employing people from nearby villages and small scale industry like handicrafts...
